Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8)
由國際知名大廠 Enzo Life Sciences 所研發的「Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8)」採用具有高度水溶性的四唑鹽類 (tetrazolium bromide) 染劑「WST-8」，該染劑可被粒線體中的脫氫酶 (dehydrogenase) 還原為水溶性黃色產物 (formazan)。當存活細胞數量愈多時，粒線體酵素活性愈高，形成的黃色產物也就愈多，藉由顏色變化即可推算出存活的細胞數量，做為細胞增生 (cell proliferation) 或細胞毒性 (cytotoxicity) 指標。本產品具有以下優勢特點：
- 靈敏度更高：比 MTT、MTS、XTT、WST-1 試劑更加靈敏，偵測範圍可達 1,000–25,000 cells/well。
- 更簡便快速：染劑本身與形成的還原產物均具高溶解度，不需 DMSO 回溶步驟即可偵測，省時高效，同時避免回溶不完全導致的誤差。
- 細胞毒性極低：降低實驗干擾因素；測試完後，細胞可再繼續培養或進行其他試驗。
