由 Alpha 技術所延伸出來的便利產品，具有下列多項產品優勢：

- Wide dynamic range！具有更為寬廣的線性偵測範圍，可避免傳統 Western Blot 實驗中，因訊號過高而導致底片反白 (over-exposure)，無法定量的情形。
- No wash steps！無清洗和分離步驟，增加實驗的便利性，同時可降低實驗變異，增加偵測精準度。
- Outstanding sensitivity！此技術原理包含訊號放大，可有效提高實驗靈敏度，節省珍貴樣本用量。
- Excellent specificity！利用兩支專一性抗體辨識磷酸化蛋白，實驗結果具有良好的專一性。

作用原理：AlphaScreen SureFire 作用原理類似 Sandwich ELISA，以「AlphaScreen SureFire p-Erk」偵測試劑為例，當 cell lysates 樣本中含有待測的磷酸化蛋白質 "p-Erk" 時，帶有 Erk 專一性抗體的 Donor Bead、與帶有 phospho Erk 專一性抗體的 Acceptor Bead，即可經由抗體與標的蛋白間的專一性結合而靠近，此時以 680 nm 雷射光激發 Donor Bead，即可經由一連串的能量轉移反應驅使 Acceptor Bead 發出 520-620 nm 螢光訊號。

 AlphaScreen SureFire 不但具有與傳統 Western Blot 相比擬的靈敏度，還能提供更精確的數值化定量結果！Lysates of IGF-stimulated cells were analyzed using the recommended assay conditions for ultra sensitive western blots (20 μl/gel lane) and AlphaScreen SureFire assay kits (4 μl/assay well). Two-fold dilutions were performed to determine the relative sensitivity. Sensitivity was comparable for these two assay techniques. |
